FITNESS

At Sean Salinger Fitness, all sessions are challenging and fun. 

We train in small groups, led by a qualified Personal Trainer. Each session is adapted to meet the individual's fitness levels.

Sessions are varied and no two training session are the same.

You will train alongside amazing, supportive people, make long term friendships.

We turn exercise avoiders into fitness achievers.

NUTRITION

At Sean Salinger Fitness we look at food differently.

We don't do diets. We don't label foods as 'good and bad'. We don't do denial, and we most certainly do not do quick-fixes, pills, potions, fads or shakes.

In order for your body to function and to perform its best, it needs the correct fuel.

We remove the guesswork with custom meal plans, recipes and grocery lists. 

We work with our dieticians to provide recipes and  meal plans that are not restrictive, so you can still eat the foods you like, in moderation.

Follow our nutritional advice for sustainable weight loss, and become happier, healthier energetic person. All our recipes are quick, easy, tasty, filling and family-friendly.

Our 3 key nutritional principles are: Moderation, Natural and Rainbow

MINDSET

'Believe you can, and you're halfway there'. 

One single negative, destructive thought can prevent you from reaching your full potential. Tell yourself "I can't do this,"  and you soon believe it!

It's our own thoughts that determine our feelings and actions, so our thoughts become the decider between whether we fail or succeed.

We have created a FREE personal development lending library, with over 75 books to choose from, as your mental health is as much of a priority to us as your physical health. We also have meditations and motivational video's in our membership site.

MINDSET is one of the 4 Integral Elements of all our programs.

Loving the sessions. Great set of people. Great way to release tension from a busy day at work. Ok, can be tough at times but Sean aims to accommodate all irrespective of your stamina and fitness level. Lots of variety so you don't get bored of the same routine. I come away from each session feeling energised. After the initial six weeks, signed up to the monthly membership as it helps to keep me motivated .

COMMUNITY

At Sean Salinger Fitness we've created  a strong community, with a fun, friendly and supportive vibe.

It's not just about Unit 11 - we organise regular events, including quizzes, a Snowdon Trek, Ten Pin Bowling nights, Christmas Parties and meals out.

Outside Unit 11, we're also a big part of the wider community in Altrincham, raising monies for local charities and collecting for the local foodbank.  

Everyone is there to help each other to reach their own personal goals. Camaraderie is one of the most important contributors to our members success.

Our members make everyone feel welcome.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Accountability is the glue that ties your commitment to RESULTS. It's the missing link in achieving your fitness goals.

We've found that by holding people accountable for their actions, they see results. They taken action, when they might otherwise have quit.

At Sean Salinger Fitness, accountability is key. We ask for our members commitments weekly, and everyone has the option to have a weekly 1-2-1 call with us, so that they keep moving forwards.  

Unlike bigger chain gyms, we WANT you to attend sessions. Expect a message from us if you say you're going to come to a class and then don't turn up! 

24/7 ONLINE SUPPORT, WITH ACCESS TO OUR MOBILE APP & MEMBERSHIP SITE

As you advance through your program, we'll make sure you have access to everything you need to keep moving forwards, push past plateaus and become your strongest self. 

That is why, as a member of Sean Salinger Fitness, you'll have access to lots of things to keep you on track, including:

I was contemplating going back to the gym when I saw Sean's ad on Facebook, so I decided to give it a go. One week in and I have to say it's one of the best decisions I have made! Having the support of not only Sean but the whole group is very motivating and makes you look forward to the next session. Don't get me wrong, it's hard work, but that's the whole point, no pain no gain as they say. Sean and the group are very welcoming and Sean is always on hand if you need some guidance. The food plan is great and helps to get out of bad habits but at the same time filling and tasty. Would recommend to anyone thinking of starting.

I am here to help

My name is Sean Salinger. I specialise in 3 key areas that will help you lead a healthy and happy life.

As a Personal Trainer, Nutritional Consultant, and Mindset Coach, I want to work with you so that you can live the life you have always wanted.

Take inspiration from my own journey. After 25 years in Corporate I.T, I was totally burnt out, stressed, depressed and overweight. I wasn’t happy with the way I looked, felt, or lived. Whenever I would look in the mirror, I wouldn’t love the person looking back at me.

I decided to change my life for the better. Not by entering a bootcamp and working out to within an inch of my life whilst starving myself, but by getting to know and understand why I was feeling the way I was. Then from there implementing the changes I needed to become the person I wanted to be.

I loved my 'new life' so much, that I re-trained at a Personal Trainer, and started to help Ladies and Gents to get into great shape, increase their energy levels and benefit from long term physical and mental health & happiness.

When I train clients, there is no shaming, no repercussions, just honesty that gets you in touch with the person that you want to become.

I provide all the training, support, accountability and motivation you need.

I will be with you every step of the way, and whilst I can tell you it may not always be easy, I know from my own life story and the success stories of the hundreds of clients I have worked with, that the destination will be worth the journey.
